Alex Turner

I am Alex Turner, a UI/UX designer from England. Currently, I have been working on further developing my design capabilities. Having recently achieved an outstanding grade in a UI professional diploma - I have spent time and effort becoming proficient in the design principles as well as design software.

During my professional development I have been able to grasp all aspects of the design process: research, mood-boards, wireframes, critiques, prototyping, presenting and finalizing for hand off. I have proved to be hard working, fast learning and confident in my creative freedom.

 

Before this, I worked in behavioural psychology.

Understanding psychology is extremely beneficial to the UI/UX world. My  knowledge is vital when comprehending how people will want to utilise an application. Therefore I have the upper hand in designing a UI that is intuitive and thoughtful.

 

Working in both a huge creative field and behavioural psychology field has taught me how to empathise and understand the needs of both disciplines. It has made me a better designer as a result. I am able to create beautiful, slick designs with a user's behaviour in mind.
